Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills
• ABAP Core Development
• Strong ABAP programming (Reports, Includes, Function Modules, Classes)
• Debugging complex custom programs in ECC and S/4HANA
• Performance optimization (SQL tuning, buffering)
• BDC Processing
• User Exits, BAdIs and Enhancements
• SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) Deep Knowledge
• ECC Asset Accounting architecture (AM1 records, asset classes, number ranges)
• Depreciation areas and multi-valuation (parallel accounting: HGB, IFRS, US-GAAP)
• Asset transfer, retirement, and collective retirement processing
• Account determination logic in FI-AA
• S/4 HANA Migration Know-How
• Differences between ECC FI-AA and S/4HANA FI-AA (New Asset Accounting, ACDOCA table, elimination of reconciliation accounts)
• Awareness of S/4HANA simplification items related to FI-AA
Good to have Skills:
• EDI / Interface Development
• Consolidation & Group Accounting
• Elimination of intracompany asset
• Business area carve-in/Carve-out scenarios
• FI Module Integration
• CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders)
• PS (Project Systems, WBS Elements)
