General Summary
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful server applications involving the following technologies:
• Java and Python
• TCP/IP, HTTP
• Relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
  
• Docker and related containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
• JSON and/or XML
• Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Git
  
• Solid oral and written communication skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying applications in Tomcat, or similar application container technologies
• Experience working with NoSQL stores such as Cassandra or DynamoDB.
• Experience on the latest cloud compute, load balancing and scaling, storage, networking, security and virtualization technologies with Cloud providers such as AWS (preferred) or Azure

• Experience implementing backend processing systems using big data technologies like Spark, EMR or Hadoop
• Proficiency using Linux
