Role: Product Manager - Scanners
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive product roadmap for Qualys scanners by collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with customers, sales, and support team to answer technical client questions.
- Partner with sales to help explain and demonstrate the use cases of the software to customers.
- Gather insights into industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for new features or enhancements.
- Identify success metrics for new product features or updates.
- Measure feature adoption, customer retention, and conversion rates
- Work closely with other Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to align insights into product goals.
- Build best practices guide and technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
- Open to work in flexible hours to support internal teams and customers in different geographies.
- Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science or a related field.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Good understanding and interest in Cybersecurity domains such as Compliance Audits, Vulnerability Management, and Attack Surface Management.
- Certifications & Experience: Prior product management experience (5+ years) and/or relevant cybersecurity certifications are mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with diverse technologies, including Operating Systems, Web Servers, Network Devices, Databases, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation.
- Software Engineering & Project Management: Familiarity with Software Engineering Concepts and Agile/Project Management methodologies.
- Proactive, Positive perspective, team player, smart working and go getter attitude.
- Result-driven, flexible and able to adapt quickly in fast-paced environment.
- Willing to self-study and learn quickly. Ready to take up challenge and win it.
- Logical thinking and Analytical skills for problem solving/debugging.
- Capable of thinking multiple scenarios and weighing them to justify order of preference.
- Clear communication: Comprehension of English, Articulation in English and Effective Communication
