Role Overview:
The Associate Director, Insights & Analytics (I&A), will lead the India-based commercial analytics team for the Immunology Business Unit within a leading global biopharmaceutical company. Reporting to the Global Commercial Analytics Leadership, this role serves as the strategic lead and primary liaison for global and regional stakeholders, driving actionable insights, performance measurement, and data-driven strategy across the brand lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead, mentor, and grow the India-based Immunology commercial I&A team.
- Function as the single point of contact for global commercial leadership and drive steering committee priorities, agenda, and deliverables.
- Partner with cross-functional network teams, advanced analytics pods, and global data management to drive innovation and best practices.
Analytics Strategy & Insight Generation:
- Lead brand and market performance assessments by synthesizing sales, claims, primary market research, and competitive intelligence data.
- Direct hypothesis-driven analyses to uncover core business drivers, identify growth opportunities, and guide go-to-market decisions.
- Collaborate with advanced analytics teams to deploy predictive modeling, segmentation, and targeting frameworks.
Execution & Performance Tracking:
- Design and evolve KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and data architecture to establish a unified view of brand health.
- Synthesize complex analytics into executive-ready presentations with clear narrative structures and strategic recommendations.
- Assess and implement novel analytical methodologies to drive brand differentiation in competitive disease areas.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 10+ years in biopharma commercial analytics, business intelligence, or pharma consulting, with proven team leadership experience.

Domain Expertise:
- Strong understanding of commercial biopharma datasets (e.g., U.S. sales distribution, Xponent, DDD, 867, longitudinal patient claims, global media data) and primary market research/forecasting approaches.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced SQL and data manipulation capabilities; hands-on expertise with BI and dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau); experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms preferred.
Communication & Influence:
- Track record of influencing commercial strategy and senior leadership through data-driven storytelling and structured problem-solving.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative, scientific, or business discipline.
