Head Government Affairs

Randstad India is currently hiring for the position of Head of Government Affairs for one of our prominent medical devices clients based in Delhi.

This strategic role involves engaging with Marketing and Leadership teams to build and execute plans that support the companys innovation and growth agenda. You will be responsible for leading Market Access and Government Affairs programs in India to secure timely access and funding for innovative healthcare solutions. The role requires building strong connections with academia, decision-makers, payers, and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) authorities to define optimal access pathways and procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement regional and country-specific Market Access and Public Affairs programs.

- Broaden external engagement and develop partnerships at national, state, and local levels.

- Define access pathways and build an innovation-friendly business environment with high ethical standards.

- Collaborate with APAC and global peers to align objectives.

Requirements:

- Experience: 8 to 10 years in Market Access, Government Affairs, and Advocacy within the IVD, Medical Devices, or Pharmaceutical industry in India.

- Skills: Detailed knowledge of Indian government structures, public policy, and regulatory frameworks; strong network among government officials and policymakers; and excellent business acumen.

Skills and Ability Required:

 Detail knowledge of Indian government structures, public policy, legislative processes,

and regulatory framework

 Working knowledge of the healthcare systems and related policies in India

 Knowledge and experience in health economics and/or health outcomes

 Knowledge and experience of the health, economic and social issues and trends in

India

 Strong network among government officials, policy makers and payers and an

understanding of how things get done within the government departments
