Job Description
- Lead employee life cycle processes and HR audits to drive operational excellence, process standardization, governance and audit readiness across HR Operations within the Bank. Ensure that HR Operations processes are efficient, employee-centric, audit-ready, digitally integrated, regulatorily compliant and scalable across business units and locations.
- Manage HR operations processes and teams handling employee data management, salary revisions, promotions, employee benefits, leave and attendance governance, transfers, confirmations, separations, full & final settlements and HR audit controls.
- Work with HR Business Partners, Compliance, Internal Audit, Payroll, HR Technology, Risk and Business Units to strengthen HR governance frameworks and improve HR operational efficiencies & effectiveness.
- Ensure SLA adherence, process accuracy, and seamless employee and internal customer experience across employee lifecycle touchpoints through instilling a sense of customer service orientation within the team by guiding/coaching them to respond to queries and resolve issues in a quick, adequate and efficient manner.
- Draft and implement policies and SOPs related to HR Operations and employee benefits covering entire employee lifecycle with focus on customer service; Disseminate the policies to team as well as to the other stakeholders within HR
- Monitor back-end support for talent acquisition, administer benefits uniformly & consistently and set mechanism to audit all employee data management process
- Drive automation of employee life processes by creating BRD documents, perform testing and pilot runs for better employee experience and governance/control; create SOP documents and monitor TATs and deliverables against the SOPs to ensure alignment between policies, operational workflows and HR systems.
- Lead HR audit preparedness and governance across the Bank for Internal audits, RBI & regulatory compliances, Concurrent audits, process control reviews, documentation compliance and HR risk & control assessments for creating and maintaining HR audit frameworks, trackers, evidence repositories, and corrective action mechanisms.
- Audit query management and root cause analysis for non-compliances; prepare action plans to correct and monitor progress against plans to ensure closure of audit observations within defined timelines.
- Analyze the current processes in employee life cycle processes, anticipate/identify possible bottle-necks and issues; proactively provide inputs to build systems & controls, streamline processes, etc. to pre-empt issues and delays in HR Audits and prepare mitigation plans in collaboration with supervisor.
- HR Operations process excellence through strong operational controls to reduce process leakages, documentation gaps, dependencies and compliance risks through regular monitoring of operational metrics, establish governance dashboards and periodic reporting for efficiency and compliance adherence.
- Foresee changes in HR/Labour laws & industry practices and proactively recommend necessary measures for changes in HR processes/policies
