Role Description The Trade Acquisition Manager role at RBL Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolhapur. The individual in this role will focus on identifying and acquiring new trade and business banking customers, building a strong portfolio of trade finance and related products. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and meeting potential clients, understanding their trade and cash management needs, and recommending appropriate banking solutions. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and transaction processing, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and bank policies. The Trade Acquisition Manager will also monitor portfolio performance, track market trends, and prepare regular reports to support business growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term business partnerships.
- Solid understanding of trade finance, business banking products, and basic banking operations, preferably in the Indian financial services context.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client requirements, evaluate risks, and propose suitable solutions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, including clear written and verbal communication and confident presentation abilities.

- Proficiency in using MS Office and bank CRM or sales tracking tools to manage pipelines, documentation, and reporting.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in business or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in trade acquisition, SME banking, or corporate sales in a bank or financial institution is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, adapt to changing market conditions, and uphold high ethical and compliance standards.
