Job Description
- Core Accountabilities
- Ensuing India has complete Statutory accounting control.
- Manage the accounting process for India ensuring REPH are providing complete reconciliations for management and statutory accounts
- Manage the closure of statutory reporting for Lexis Nexis by the legal deadlines
- Managing Auditors’ queries resolution in an effective and efficient manner
- Maintaining financial oversight and make recommendations on financial issues to assigned business units
- Managing Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, TP Audit and enabling physical counts
- Strengthen the Financial Controls and Compliance in India
- Manage Indian Taxation compliance for Lexis Nexis with local staff and REPH
- Managing filings and tax audits to adhere to statutory timelines
- Managing accounting process in line with filed returns
- Handling Taxation notices and demands from departments and preparing suitable replies in respect of queries
- Manage full banking compliance in India with help from REPH and local Indian staff
- Managing Statutory and Urgent payments to adhere with timelines
- Managing Treasury relations with Bankers and providing details are required by Reserve Bank of India
- Ensure all payments in India are below 60 Days with all correct documentation
- Working with Financial Controller on Global projects
- Provide full India support to Financial control taking ownership of matters in the Indian business
- CA
- Degree Qualification in Accounting or Finance related field
- Audit and accounting firm
- Managing Finance function at a global organization
- Strong communication and financial knowledge
- Attention to detail
