About the role

We are looking for an adaptable and detail-oriented Analyst - Asset Management to support Asset Management master data operations and governance.

The selected individual will assist with collecting, validating and maintaining asset master data, contribute to data quality activities, and build foundational capability across Asset Master Data and Asset Readiness under appropriate guidance.

The role is a strong opportunity for a professional with foundational knowledge of maintenance, engineering or data management who wants to develop expertise in SAP PM, CMMS/EAM and asset master data.

Success in this role will require accuracy, safety awareness, analytical thinking, teamwork and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will help maintain dependable functional location, equipment and bill of materials records while supporting routine audits and continuous improvement activities.

Scope

Your scope will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Support the development and maintenance of asset master data records across ERP and CMMS systems, including SAP PM.
• Gather and prepare asset, equipment and cost data for entry, validation and reporting.
• Assist with the collection, validation and entry of functional locations, equipment, bills of materials, maintenance plans, task lists and measurement points.
• Contribute to data quality improvement recommendations under guidance.
• Support defect elimination, data cleansing and routine audit activities.
• Assist with reliability data assessments and the collection of failure data.
• Apply defined master data standards, taxonomy and naming conventions.
• Help maintain master data quality and integrity in CMMS/EAM systems.
• Build awareness of ISO 55000, ISO 14224 and applicable data governance requirements.
• Present data analysis outputs clearly for review.
• Participate actively in team learning and continuous improvement activities.

About yourself

We are looking for candidates with:

• A bachelor’s degree or Diploma/ITI in Engineering, Information Systems, Asset Management or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• A foundational understanding of maintenance and data management principles.
• Exposure to SAP PM, CMMS/EAM, asset master data or asset-intensive industries.
• An understanding of functional locations, equipment, bills of materials, maintenance plans, task lists and measurement points.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and foundational data analysis.
• Exposure to Power BI and SQL databases would be desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrable safety awareness and the ability to work constructively with others.
• Foundational awareness of FMEA/FMECA, Root Cause Analysis and Reliability-Centred Maintenance data requirements would be desirable.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
• The ability to manage assigned activities accurately and within agreed timelines.
