.Net/AI Software Engineer (C#/Claude AI/Azure)

Description
We are looking for a senior-level Full Stack .Net/AI Engineer to join a manufacturing organization in Clearwater, Florida, where collaboration, initiative, and fresh ideas are genuinely encouraged. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys building scalable software with a strong backend foundation while contributing to modern front-end experiences. You will play a key part in shaping a new processing platform and helping establish technical patterns that support long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and enhance backend services and application logic using C# and .NET technologies for high-performance business systems.
Develop and support user-facing features with React and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless connection between front-end functionality and server-side components.
Architect and maintain secure, multi-tier cloud solutions within Azure, applying sound engineering practices for scalability, reliability, and performance.
Manage source control, deployment workflows, and delivery processes using Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps to support efficient software releases.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates to define technical solutions, review code, and contribute to a highly engaged team culture.
Apply strong web security standards and software design principles throughout the development lifecycle to produce maintainable, resilient applications.
Contribute to AI-enabled solution development by integrating Claude AI capabilities where they add value to product functionality and workflow efficiency.
Support the evolution of processing-related systems and, when applicable, bring domain insight from payroll or similar operational platforms.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience building backend applications with C# and .NET in a senior engineering capacity.
Hands-on ability to create and maintain front-end features using React.js and JavaScript.
Proven experience designing and supporting cloud-based applications in Azure environments.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and GitHub for version control and delivery management.
Solid understanding of multi-tier application architecture, secure web development practices, and sound object-oriented design principles.
Experience working effectively in an efficient, collaborative team setting with strong communication and partnership skills.
Familiarity with ASP.NET and modern full stack development patterns.
Exposure to Claude AI or similar AI technologies is preferred, and experience with payroll-related systems is a plus.
