In the top 1% of Shopify stores in India, we’ve grown from a 100-square-foot garage to a 150+ person team in just 5 years — fully bootstrapped and profitable.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a Buying and Merchandising Intern who will support vendor coordination, production follow-ups, and sourcing operations across our apparel supply chain. This person will work closely with the buying and merchandising team to track production progress, coordinate with vendors, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with sourcing and production activities for apparel categories.
- Coordinate with garment manufacturers and suppliers for day-to-day updates.
- Follow up with vendors on production schedules and order status.
- Coordinate with merchants and internal teams for production-related activities.
- Track production timelines and highlight potential delays.
- Support the timely inwarding of finished goods into the warehouse.
- Help monitor vendor performance on quality and delivery timelines.
- Assist with maintaining production reports, vendor records, and sourcing documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify operational gaps and support process improvement initiatives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 0–1 year of experience in apparel sourcing, buying, merchandising, or garment production. Freshers are welcome.
- Basic understanding of garment manufacturing, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
