- Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer in Test at our company, you will be part of a global initiative focused on developing and maintaining automated tests, solutions, and processes. Your role will involve contributing to ensuring exceptional quality for products by delivering and enhancing robust testing frameworks used by internal teams. Your technical expertise and knowledge of automated testing principles will be crucial in driving innovation and excellence in technology validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop code in a wide range of programming languages, with extensive experience in Python and Java preferred
- Validate RESTful APIs, Systems, and their integration with other Systems and dependencies
- Work with GitLab or other continuous integration systems, workflow management platforms, and CI/CD tools
- Utilize open source or built-in test automation frameworks, load testing, and performance testing
- Have a good understanding of containerization technologies, preferably Kubernetes
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, and JIRA
- Proficient in reading various source code languages and software patterns
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Handle parallel tasks and provide accurate resolutions
- Understand Software Development Lifecycle and Post-Production Software Support
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues highlighted by test failures
- Stay updated with AWS trends and best practices
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent knowledge

- Ownership of existing Automated Tests for validating Cloud Streaming Systems
- Ability to identify root causes of test failures and collaborate with team members to deploy solutions
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering Team Members to implement changes in Testing Infrastructure
- Research and implement new test tools, methodologies, and industry trends
- Provide feedback on process improvements with a focus on Quality Engineering
