Project Manager - IT

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8-10 years of experience in managing end-to-end software development and technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget while effectively managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project risks. The candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver technology projects from initiation through closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, architects, and DevOps engineers.
• Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track project progress using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, where applicable.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, business requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships when required.
• Drive continuous process improvement and promote project management best practices.

Required Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in software development or IT services.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing cloud, digital transformation, or enterprise application development projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in vendor and client relationship management.
• Exposure to PMO governance and project reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
