Plant Head - Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Plant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head to oversee and lead our Electric Vehicle manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EV production, operations management, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of driving manufacturing excellence, ensuring quality, and optimizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire EV manufacturing plant to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and technical staff.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales teams to meet production targets and customer expectations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices in EV manufacturing.
• Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 10 years in EV or related green mobility sector.
• Proven leadership experience in managing large manufacturing plants.
• Strong understanding of EV technologies, battery manufacturing, and electric drivetrains is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead change and drive organizational transformation.
