About the Role

As our Category Coordinator – Lighting & Home Automation

, you will be responsible for managing the accuracy, quality, and coordination of product information throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with the Product Manager – Lighting, you will coordinate the collection of product data and attributes from both branded and OEM suppliers, ensuring all technical information, data sheets, and NPDR documentation are complete, accurate, and consistent across each product range. You will oversee the validation of new product data before products are released, ensuring product codes, specifications, pricing, and supporting documentation are correctly uploaded and categorized on the website in collaboration with the IT and other stakeholders. A key part of the role involves regularly reviewing website content to ensure products are correctly assigned to categories, related products are linked appropriately, product prioritization is maintained, and all customer-facing information is accurate and up to date.

In addition to product data management, you will support the successful execution of new product launches by maintaining NPD trackers, preparing meeting agendas and product displays, coordinating samples and swatches, and assisting with the creation of launch guides, newsletters, and product communications for the sales team. You will also manage retail pricing requests for non-stock products, review price guide drafts to ensure discontinued products are removed and new products are included, monitor validation reports and resolve data discrepancies, and work with internal stakeholders to continuously improve product management systems and processes. This is a varied and collaborative role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting the continued growth of our Lighting and Home Automation categories.

About You

You have a strong understanding of lighting and home automation products and are highly organised, analytical, and detail oriented. You are confident working with data, reports, and multiple systems, communicate effectively across teams, and can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with Product, IT, Sales, and Data teams will enable you to succeed in this role. Good understanding of Sales, Marketing and wider supply chain capabilities would be preferred.
