Job Description
- As a Senior Java Developer at SAP Sales Cloud v2, you will be a key player in the development of our cutting-edge microservice architecture leveraging technologies like Java, Angular, Kubernetes (K8s), Kafka, MongoDB, and Elastic Search. The transition from SAP Sales Cloud v1 to v2 introduces new technological standards prioritizing high availability, performance, and an API-first approach for agility and flexibility. You will work on an event-driven microservice architecture, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining various microservices supporting business processes such as Retail Execution scenarios and foundational services critical for business microservices.
Your role will involve designing and implementing microservices to address business use cases and technical requirements using open-source frameworks. You will collaborate closely with team members and architects to deliver high-quality solutions, develop detailed designs, and create scalable, maintainable solutions based on software design patterns and architectural patterns. Additionally, you will participate in the entire lifecycle of microservices, ensuring continuous delivery of cloud services through development, testing, automation, and maintenance.
To excel in this role, you should have 8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in computer science. Your technical skills should include proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservice architecture, Kubernetes (K8s), MongoDB, and design patterns. Soft skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, communication, and adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments are crucial for success.
