Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Professional role based in Jabalpur. The Sales Professional will be responsible for generating new business, promoting SBI General Insurance products to individual and corporate customers, and achieving assigned sales and revenue targets. Daily responsibilities include meeting prospective clients, understanding their insurance needs, presenting suitable product solutions, and supporting them through policy issuance and renewal. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with customers, channel partners, conducting regular follow-ups, and ensuring high standards of customer service and policy retention. The Sales Professional will also track market trends, participate in local marketing and outreach activities, and adhere to all regulatory and company compliance guidelines.
Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to identify prospects, convert leads, and meet or exceed targets.
• Customer relationship management capabilities, including active listening, needs assessment, and post-sales service follow-up.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customer segments, bank staff, and channel partners.
• Basic understanding of general insurance products and willingness to learn about motor, health, and other key lines of business.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client interactions and reporting requirements.
• Comfort with digital tools and applications for policy sourcing, documentation, and CRM or sales tracking.
• Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; a specialization in business, finance, or marketing is an advantage.
• Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or banking sales is preferred but motivated entry-level candidates with strong potential will be considered.
• Ethical, goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer-centric service and regulatory compliance.
