Production Manager - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complete production operations for the Madurai manufacturing facility.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Drive improvements in productivity, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and manufacturing efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize manpower utilization, production planning, machine capacity, and workflow.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Stores, and Procurement teams for smooth plant operations.
• Monitor production KPIs and initiate corrective actions wherever required.
• Reduce manufacturing costs through process optimization and waste elimination.
• Ensure adherence to Safety, Health & Environment (EHS) standards.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop production supervisors and shop-floor teams.
• Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, discipline, and operational excellence.
• Participate in new product introduction, process validation, and capacity expansion initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF quality systems and standard operating procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile - Education:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations will be an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile - Experience:

• 8-12 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing end-to-end production operations in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong exposure to high-volume, process-driven manufacturing environments.
