Job Description
- You are invited to join Senvion as a CMS (Condition Monitoring System) Lead in the Product and Technology team based in Bangalore. As a visionary leader in this strategic role, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and expanding the entire condition monitoring system ecosystem.
Your primary responsibility will be to envision and execute the CMS platform strategy, encompassing the selection and integration of technologies to align execution with product and operational objectives. Leveraging your expertise in failure modes, analytics, and system design will be crucial in enhancing asset reliability and fostering innovation in predictive maintenance, while previous exposure to wind turbines would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and spearhead the CMS strategy spanning hardware, software, analytics, and operations.
- Create scalable and intelligent condition monitoring solutions for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Translate knowledge of asset failures into practical monitoring and diagnostic strategies.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate suitable sensors, platforms, and analytical tools.
- (Preferred) Provide guidance on integrating or developing CMS capabilities for wind turbines.
- Establish KPI frameworks to assess the impact of CMS on reliability, downtime, and cost savings.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on mechanical and electrical failure modes and condition-based maintenance.
- Mentor engineering and product teams on CMS design principles and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in IIoT, edge analytics, and predictive diagnostics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.

- Demonstrated experience in developing or leading CMS strategy on a large scale.
- Profound knowledge of rotating machinery, bearings, gearboxes, electrical systems, and associated failure modes.
- Hands-on experience with prominent CMS technologies such as Bently Nevada, SKF, SPM, Emerson.
- Proficiency in vibration analysis (ISO CAT III/IV preferred), thermography, and other diagnostic methods.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, IIoT, and remote asset monitoring.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
- (Preferred) Background in the wind energy sector or wind turbine monitoring.,
