Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Administration & Infrastructure

• Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems including servers, storage, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, virtualization (VMware), Virtual desktop infrastructure, Servers, Storage and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Manage and administer O365 platform
• Oversee patch management and system updates.
• Manage, configure, monitor & restore back ups
• Advanced technical support for escalated issues
• Manage and monitor IT tickets using IT Ticketing tool.
  

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, anti-virus systems, and data protection strategies.
• Ensure systems are compliant with relevant regulations (ISO 27001).
• Conduct risk assessments and support disaster recovery/business continuity planning.

Project Management

• Lead and support IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

• Maintain accurate system documentation, asset inventories, and network diagrams.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with

8 -12 years of experience in IT systems administration
