Job Description
- The MLA Engineer position at Senvion involves conducting site-specific Mechanical Load Assessments and collaborating with various teams to support wind turbine projects. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the field and possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include using multibody aeroelastic simulation models for system load analysis, supporting component owners with site-specific load packages, collaborating with different departments to provide insights on wind resource and loads assessment, and participating in the improvement of tools and processes for Micrositing.
The MLA Engineer will also support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), conduct sensitivity studies, assist with layout and product optimization, and contribute to the definition and implementation of new methods in processes and tools. The role requires a focus on meeting execution targets while being adaptable to changing requirements.
The successful candidate should have experience in wind turbine and site-specific load assessments, wind resource assessment, and understanding the impact of wind resource on wind turbine structure, performance, and operation.
