Liability Underwriter - Insurance Broking

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite corporate liability insurance risks based on client requirements and risk exposure.
• Review proposals, policy documents, claims history and relevant risk information.
• Analyse risks and determine appropriate coverage, terms, conditions and pricing.
• Coordinate with corporate clients, insurers, brokers and internal teams for quotations and policy placement.
• Handle liability-related claims and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for smooth resolution.
• Ensure accurate documentation, policy issuance and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
• Develop strong relationships with corporate clients and insurance partners.
• Support the team in renewals, new business and risk evaluation.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risk concerns.

Desired Profile:

• Experience in General Insurance, particularly Liability Insurance or Underwriting.
• Experience working with corporate clients is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of liability insurance products, risk assessment and claims.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
