ShareChat (Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd) is Indias largest homegrown social media company and the only local player to achieve profitability in the industry, with 200+ million Monthly Monetizable Users across all its platforms.
Founded in 2015, ShareChat has social media brands such as the ShareChat App and Moj App and micro drama app QuickTV under its portfolio. QuickTV, the newest addition to ShareChats family of apps, crossed the 10 million downloads mark within 3 months of launch and currently has 60Mn MAUs across the network viewing the vertical episodic content.
Today, the ShareChat network maintains a whopping 1,000 Cr ARR and is Indias leading social media platform servicing users across the country in 15 regional languages. This growth has led to a 28% YoY revenue growth in the July-Sept (2025-26) quarter and increased it by more than 60% in the Oct-Dec quarter.
What Youll Do

• Responsible for monthly closure activities which includes ensuring compliance with internal deadlines, oversight of accounting ledgers, accuracy, review of journals, and reconciliations
• Drive preparation of back-up schedules for Accruals,Prepaid expenses, and complex transactions. Conduct ledger analysis to explain specific accounting treatments.
• Handle all Incoming Invoices and ensuring the entry in ERP system. Make and issue POs to various business teams.
• Verification of employee claims as per the Company policy, accounting and payment to the employees
• Support Audits - internal, statutory and tax audits. Actively participate in due diligences where required.

• Identify and evangelize process improvement and automation opportunities. Own and drive implementation and any change in processes
• Continue to improve the payment process.
• Analyze various reports like Vendor aging, Vendor Master Data - to further balance sheet health.
  

Who are you

• B.com or CA Inter with 2-3 years of work experience in similar arena
• Knowledge of P2P functions necessary
• Knowledge on TDS & GST, month end closing, journal entries etc
• Flexible to work during month close, audit season.

  Get Hired
  Experience in Netsuite will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a curious mind, and the ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders.
• High level of self-motivation, leadership, and a positive attitude. Should be focused on getting things done.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proven capability to guide and work well with diverse personalities at all levels.
