Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Business Development professionals to come onboard this rocket-ship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, Business development, excellent negotiation skills and a strong network among key decision makers in the Insurance category. This is a team handling role across a geographically distributed team and thus being able to motivate and drive the team will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and target potential Insurance partners, develop strategic plans, and execute strategies to onboard and build long-term relationships.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Insurance organizations(across channels- Agency, Renewals, Telesales and Bancassurance) to foster collaboration and trust.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to understand the organization structures of Insurance players, expand to new markets and channels and achieve revenue targets.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the Insurance space.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, Sales, Alliances, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on product offerings and support partners effectively.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report key business metrics, sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to stakeholders
- 12-14 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management experience in the Insurance category- preferably with Health Insurance or General Insurance companies.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Insurance market, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
