Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Muzaffarpur. The Insurance Agent will identify potential customers, explain Shriram Life Insurance products, and recommend suitable insurance solutions based on individual financial needs and risk profiles. Responsibilities include generating leads, conducting customer meetings, presenting policy options, and assisting clients through the proposal, documentation, and policy issuance processes. The role involves maintaining regular contact with existing policyholders, supporting policy renewals, and addressing queries or service requests to ensure a positive customer experience. The Insurance Agent will also collaborate with branch teams, participate in local marketing or outreach activities, and keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions while adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Insurance Sales and a strong understanding of Insurance products, including life insurance and protection plans.
• Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage practices and the ability to compare and position products effectively.
• Basic knowledge of Finance concepts to assess customer needs, affordability, and long-term financial goals.
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build trust, handle queries, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
• Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet sales targets and manage time efficiently.
• Comfort working on-site in Muzaffarpur and engaging with local communities, including rural and urban customers.
• Higher secondary education required; a bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or field sales is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and undergo training is essential.
