D365 F&O Financial Management Functional Consultant

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced D365 ERP Functional Consultant with 5+ years of expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring the system, and supporting end-to-end ERP implementations across key functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Configure and implement D365 F&O modules.
- Participate in full lifecycle ERP implementations (design, build, test, deploy).
Functional Expertise:
- Work on modules such as Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure system configurations align with business processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams for customization and integrations.

Testing & Deployment:
- Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support defect resolution.
- Prepare test cases, scenarios, and documentation.
- Assist in data migration and validation activities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user support.
- Provide post-implementation support and system optimization.
Management of Process flows and related Roles:
- Design and configure workflows and security roles aligned with business processes, approval hierarchies, and compliance requirements.
- Manage user access and approvals by defining roles, duties, and privileges while ensuring proper segregation of duties (SoD) and least-privilege access.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Strong functional knowledge in three or more modules: Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA etc) and Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement etc.
- Experience in end-to-end ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.
- Experience in UAT, documentation, and training.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with integrations, data migration, and reporting tools.
Nice to Have:
- Basic understanding of X++ and technical concepts.
- Knowledge of Azure, Power Platform, or Power BI.
- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
