Job Description
- You will be joining Simpplr as a Senior Software Engineer, Front End (with TypeScript) with over 5 years of experience in the tech industry. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to building a new product line by creating exceptional user experiences on the front-end using TypeScript with React.
As part of a highly skilled cross-functional team, you will work on developing new user-facing features and contribute to a shared UI library used across various engineering teams. Quality is a top priority at Simpplr, and you will be expected to write automated unit tests and end-to-end tests for the code and services you develop. You will actively participate in agile ceremonies to ensure the regular and sustainable delivery of value in two-week sprints.
In addition to your technical contributions, you will play a crucial role in influencing the overall architecture and direction of the codebase and the product as a whole. Your expertise will help establish best practices, guidelines, and processes to enhance the team's focus on building the application efficiently. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide other team members to support their career growth within the organization.
To excel in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of React, including its virtual DOM concept, and have experience with modern modular CSS strategies like styled components and CSS Modules. Your passion for exploring new technologies, patterns, and techniques will be highly valued as you collaborate with the team to enhance productivity, code quality, and user experience. Proficiency in CI/CD, unit testing (using Jest), and end-to-end testing tools like Cypress is essential, along with a strong grasp of functional programming patterns.
