Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Engineer role based in the Mohali district. The Field Engineer will install, commission, and maintain equipment and systems used in Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing training environments. Daily responsibilities include performing on-site troubleshooting, providing technical support to training teams and clients, and ensuring equipment uptime and safety. The role involves documenting service activities, coordinating with project teams on deployment schedules, and supporting demonstrations or training sessions that rely on technical infrastructure. The Field Engineer will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve service processes and support continuous enhancement of technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for diagnosing and resolving equipment and system issues.
• Experience in field service and on-site maintenance activities, including installation, commissioning, and routine inspections.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, trainers, and internal teams, including clear documentation and reporting.
• Foundational project management abilities to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and support deployment of technical solutions.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering (e.g., electrical, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics, or related field).
• Knowledge of industrial automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, or digital manufacturing systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work safely on-site, follow standard operating procedures, and adhere to quality and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed for field assignments and client support.
