The Role: Python Developer
Job Title: Python Developer – APIs & Integration (Freelance or Full-Time)
Engagement: Freelance or Full-Time
Location: EMEA / CET (plus or minus 2 hours)
Work Language: English
Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Integrate third-party APIs and services (including LLMs)
• Work with JSON and structured data formats
• Design scalable and flexible data models and schemas
• Collaborate with team members on architecture and design decisions
• Debug, test, and improve existing codebase
• Ensure code quality through documentation and version control (Git)
• Participate in planning and review meetings (remote)
  

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills (preferably 3+ years of hands-on experience)
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration (including common pitfalls)
• Solid understanding of data modeling and schema design
• Comfortable working with JSON and less common external API services
• Some familiarity with LLM integration (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face APIs)
• Familiarity with GitHub and one or more popular Git workflows
• Good debugging skills and willingness to build on top of some existing code
