Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Representative role based in Jaipur. The Field Sales Representative will identify and visit potential customers, present solar solutions, and explain the financial and environmental benefits of solar installations. Responsibilities include generating leads through field visits and local networking, conducting site assessments in coordination with technical teams, and preparing proposals and quotations. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, assisting clients with government subsidy processes, and maintaining strong relationships for repeat and referral business. The Field Sales Representative will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution and provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management.

Qualifications

• Strong field sales, business development, and customer relationship management skills, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical and financial concepts in clear, simple terms.
• Basic understanding of solar energy systems, rooftop installations, and EPC processes, or willingness to quickly learn solar industry fundamentals.
• Ability to conduct on-site visits, perform preliminary site evaluations, and coordinate with technical and operations teams.
• Proficiency in using smartphones, productivity tools, and CRM or sales tracking software to manage leads and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to work independently in the field and handle multiple prospects.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in field sales, real estate, financial products, or renewable energy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfort with local travel in and around Jaipur and a valid mode of transportation is beneficial.
