Job Description
- You will be working in the Electronics industry with a focus on Office Equipment, Automation, IT Software & Software Services, and Electronic Security and Surveillance. As an Embedded Programmer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and debug embedded systems software and firmware. You will collaborate with various teams to define system requirements, architect solutions, and implement code for embedded applications. This role is based in Ahmedabad at Prahladnagar and follows a regular day shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded software and firmware for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and digital signal processors.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define system requirements and hardware-software interfaces.
- Develop low-level device drivers and interface software for communication with external peripherals.
- Write efficient code for real-time operating systems and bare-metal environments.
- Test, verify, and debug embedded software to ensure functionality and quality.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to maintain code quality and standards.
- Optimize system performance, memory utilization, and power consumption.
- Stay updated on embedded systems technologies and propose innovative solutions for system improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and meet project timelines.
- Document design specifications and technical details for knowledge sharing and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/IC Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C, Microcontrollers, C/C++, Multithreading, and assembly language.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems.
- Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded development tools.
- Familiarity with communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
