Job Description
- You will be joining a renowned global digital engineering firm, Srijan, a Material company, as a Senior Full Java Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance Java Spring Boot microservices. You will also work on optimizing APIs and backend systems in a distributed microservices architecture and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EKS, EC2, RDS, and Lambda. Automation of deployments using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, and GitHub Actions will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using tools like Dynatrace, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and adherence to SLAs through SRE best practices, and performing root cause analysis for production incidents are vital aspects of this role. You will also be optimizing relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) for performance and reliability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery, and mentoring junior developers to drive technical excellence across the team.
To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development, along with a good understanding of Python programming language. Strong expertise in microservices architecture, AWS services, and cloud infrastructure management is required. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CI/CD tools, Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is essential. Additionally, you should possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Being available to work on call and shifts is also expected.
