StepsAI is building AI agents for businesses across websites, Shopify stores, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and other customer-facing channels.

Our agents help businesses answer questions instantly, recommend products, capture leads, recover drop-offs, track orders, book meetings, automate workflows, and increase conversions.

We are now building an affiliate program for creators, consultants, agencies, communities, educators, and operators who can refer businesses to StepsAI and earn recurring commissions.

The Role

• We are hiring an Affiliate Manager to build and grow StepsAIs affiliate program end to end.
• This role is about recruiting affiliates, activating them, giving them the right assets, tracking performance, improving campaigns, and turning referrals into recurring revenue.
• This is not a basic influencer coordination role.
• This is a growth role.
• Your job is simple:

Build an affiliate engine that brings qualified customers to StepsAI at scale.

The Core Mission

Your core mission is to find, recruit, activate, and grow affiliates who can promote StepsAI to relevant business audiences.

You will work with:

• AI creators
• SaaS creators
• Shopify creators
• E-commerce consultants
• Digital marketers
• SEO/content creators
• YouTubers
• Newsletter owners
• Community owners
• Agency founders
• Business coaches
• Automation consultants
• Tech educators

The goal is not just to add affiliates.

The goal is to create active affiliates who drive signups, demos, and paying customers.

What You Will Own

1. Affiliate Recruitment

You will build the affiliate pipeline from scratch.

This includes:

• Identifying high-potential affiliates
• Finding creators, consultants, communities, and agencies
• Building outreach lists
• Reaching out through LinkedIn, email, X, YouTube, communities, and referrals
• Pitching the StepsAI affiliate opportunity
• Getting affiliates signed up and activated

You should know how to identify people with the right audience, not just large follower counts.

2. Affiliate Activation

You will help affiliates start promoting StepsAI quickly.

This includes:

• Onboarding affiliates
• Explaining the product and commission model
• Sharing unique affiliate links
• Helping them understand use cases
• Giving them ready-to-use assets
• Helping them create their first posts, videos, emails, or campaigns
• Following up until they actually promote

Affiliate signup is not success.

Affiliate activation is success.

3. Affiliate Content & Assets

You will create and manage the assets affiliates need.

This includes:

• Email swipe copy
• LinkedIn post templates
• Short-form video scripts
• Demo clips
• Landing page copy
• Banners
• One-pagers
• Product explainers
• Comparison angles
• Use-case examples
• FAQs and objection handling
• Campaign ideas for different affiliate types

You should know how to make it easy for affiliates to promote StepsAI without sounding generic.

4. Affiliate Campaigns

You will run campaigns that give affiliates reasons to promote.

This includes:

• Launch campaigns
• Monthly themes
• Industry-specific campaigns
• Shopify-focused campaigns
• AI agent education campaigns
• Limited-time offers
• Webinars or demo sessions
• Co-branded campaigns
• Newsletter sponsorship-style pushes
• Creator-led campaigns

You should be able to turn the affiliate program into an active growth channel, not a passive dashboard.

5. Tracking & Performance

You will monitor affiliate performance and improve it.

This includes:

• Affiliate signups
• Clicks
• Trials
• Demos booked
• Paid customers
• Revenue generated
• Commission payouts
• Top-performing affiliates
• Inactive affiliates
• Campaign performance
• Conversion by affiliate type

You should be comfortable using affiliate tracking tools and reporting in numbers.

6. Relationship Management

You will manage affiliate relationships and keep them engaged.

This includes:

• Regular check-ins
• Performance updates
• Sharing new assets
• Helping affiliates improve content
• Re-engaging inactive affiliates
• Supporting top affiliates
• Collecting feedback
• Creating a sense of community

The best affiliates should feel like partners, not random link sharers.

Must-Have Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, partnerships, growth marketing, creator marketing, community marketing, or business development
• Ability to find and recruit creators, consultants, and affiliates
• Strong outreach and follow-up skills
• Ability to create affiliate content assets and campaign ideas
• Understanding of tracking links, attribution, referrals, and conversions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and move fast
• Comfort with numbers and performance reporting
• Strong ownership mindset
  

Good to Have

• Experience with SaaS, AI, Shopify, e-commerce, marketing technology, or creator-led products
• Experience managing affiliate programs
• Experience with affiliate platforms such as Affonso, Rewardful, PartnerStack, FirstPromoter, Tapfiliate, or similar tools
• Experience working with YouTubers, newsletter owners, LinkedIn creators, or communities
• Experience creating swipe copy, email campaigns, short-form scripts, or creator briefs
• Experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Reddit, Quora, newsletters, and communities
• Experience using Notion, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Airtable, Apollo, or similar tools

• You understand StepsAI, the product, affiliate model, ICPs, and target affiliate profiles
• You build the first affiliate target list
• You improve affiliate outreach messaging
• You start recruiting affiliates
• You create basic affiliate assets and onboarding materials

• You are recruiting and activating affiliates consistently
• You create campaign assets for different affiliate categories
• You track affiliate clicks, demos, signups, and customers
• You identify which affiliate types perform best
• You re-engage inactive affiliates and support top performers
  

First 90 Days

• You own a working affiliate growth system
• You have active affiliates publishing content and driving traffic
• You create repeatable affiliate campaigns
• You generate affiliate-sourced demos or customers
• You build a scalable affiliate playbook for StepsAI
