Content Designer

• Summary Description
• The Content Designer applies subject matter knowledge and instructional design principles to
• develop and revise digital instructional materials and supporting materials. The materials
• created range from writing manuscripts to creating videos.
• Essential Job Functions
• • Understand and apply educational research, pedagogy, subject matter expertise, and
• instructional design principles to create instructional videos.

• Review product features against guidelines for consistency in curriculum design.
• Make sure activity design has adequate white space and hierarchy to clearly display

• content.
• • Collaborate with Content Producer Lead to plan and execute on project workflow and
• schedules.

• Work with Content Producer Lead to create consistency in design of the product.
• Produce high quality work to schedule.
• Support the discovery and integration of AI tools and technologies to enhance our creative

processes, drive efficiency and optimize workflows

• Ability to multi-task and meet the needs of new projects that arise.
• Other duties as required.

• Qualifications
• • Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or Design and 2 years
• of Curriculum Development, educational publishing, or instructional design experience; or an
• acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Technical Skills
• • Classroom teaching experience either online or in-person and knowledge of online learning
• activities and the education market preferred.

• Excellent presentation skills, and desire to learn new tools for producing content.
• Skilled in PowerPoint and specifically animations and templates.
• Ability to support learning through content design.
