Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Maintenance Engineer role based in Jodhpur. The Field Maintenance Engineer will perform routine and corrective maintenance on wind turbine equipment and associated electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Daily responsibilities include conducting inspections, diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance schedules in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The role involves maintaining detailed service records, coordinating with operations teams for downtime planning, and supporting troubleshooting activities to minimize energy production loss. The engineer will adhere to safety protocols, participate in site audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in field equipment.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance engineering, including planning and executing maintenance tasks for complex systems.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices, including scheduling, inspections, and documentation to reduce failures and extend equipment life.
• Solid electrical maintenance skills, including working with electrical panels, wiring, and safety procedures for high-voltage equipment.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of wind turbine or renewable energy systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions, following strict safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic computer literacy for maintenance reporting and use of diagnostic tools; familiarity with maintenance management systems is an advantage.
