Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU), Pune invites applications from accomplished industry leaders for the position Director Cum Professor and Professor of Practice – FinTech.

Director Cum Professor Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic development of the Universitys FinTech education, research, and industry engagement initiatives.
• Design and oversee industry-relevant curricula in areas such as digital banking, blockchain, AI in finance, cybersecurity, digital payments, wealth technology, and regulatory technology.
• Establish partnerships with banks, FinTech companies, regulators, and technology providers for internships, projects, certifications, and placements.
• Promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and applied research in FinTech through labs, incubation, and industry collaborations.
• Mentor faculty and students while ensuring academic excellence and industry relevance.
• Represent the University in industry forums, conferences, and strategic collaborations.

Professor of Practice Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver courses in FinTech, Digital Banking, Financial Analytics, and Emerging Financial Technologies.
• Mentor students through industry projects, internships, innovation initiatives, and career development.
• Contribute to curriculum design aligned with evolving industry requirements.
• Build industry partnerships and facilitate guest lectures, workshops, certifications, and placements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors and Masters Degree with First Class in Finance, Banking, FinTech, Technology, Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 15+ years of industry experience in Banking Technology, FinTech, Digital Payments, Blockchain, InsurTech, WealthTech, Digital Lending, Financial Analytics, or Financial Services.
• Experience at senior leadership levels such as General Manager, Business Head, Director, Vice President, CXO, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Visiting Faculty, Adjunct Faculty, Guest Faculty, or Corporate Trainer preferred.
• Ph.D. desirable but not mandatory.
