Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead and support up to five Agile squads across multiple time zones in developing a custom-built Java application. This position is part of a large, complex program and requires strong facilitation, coordination, and servant leadership skills to ensure Agile best practices are followed and delivery objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives across distributed teams.
• Act as a servant leader and coach, promoting Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and transparency.
• Coordinate across squads to manage dependencies and align sprint goals for consistent delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Program Managers to maintain backlog health and sprint readiness.
• Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders and leadership.
• Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into sprint progress and program-level KPIs.
• Ensure timely reporting of sprint outcomes, impediments, and delivery risks.
• Support cross-functional communication across time zones and cultures.
• Champion Agile maturity and drive adoption of best practices across the program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in large-scale Agile environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple squads simultaneously, preferably in a global delivery model.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and Agile metrics.
• Experience with custom Java applications and the full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience building and managing dashboards in JIRA or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills to present data-driven insights for decision-making.

Get Hired
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II) or SAFe certification highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in large enterprise programs with complex interdependencies.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive change in a matrixed organization
