ETL Support Analyst

Job Title: ETL Support Analyst (L1 & L2 Combined Role)

Experience: 4+yrs

Notice period: Only 15-30days

Location: Remote

Role Purpose The ETL Support Analyst will provide comprehensive support for ETL/Data Integration processes, covering both first-level (L1) and second-level (L2) responsibilities. This role ensures smooth operations, timely resolution of incidents, and continuous improvement of data integration environments. 

Key ResponsibilitiesFirst-Level Support & Monitoring

• Monitor critical ETL/ELT processes to ensure timely completion and accurate data availability. 
• Restart failed processes and resolve known incidents; escalate unknown issues to second-level support. 
• 
  Perform deployments and administrative tasks for ETL scheduling environments. 
  

Second-Level Support

• Analyze unresolved incidents from L1, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes via Change Control Procedure. 
• Raise change requests for development or source system teams when required. 
• Manage incident and problem lifecycle to prevent recurrence. 
  

Environment Administration

• Administer ETL application software, scheduling tools, and associated data storage. 
• Ensure ETL structures and integration processes are maintained and optimized. 
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain site logs and update operational manuals for production processes.

Tool Transition & Improvement

• Support enhancements or transitions of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) to avoid vendor lock-in. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation. 
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica or similar). 
• Proficiency in SQL and data integration concepts. 
• Experience in incident and problem management frameworks. 
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and batch monitoring. 
• Understanding of Change Control and production support processes. 
• Experience with Teradata
