About the Role:
The role will work closely with senior stakeholders and business teams on commercial contracts, legal risk management, regulatory matters, negotiations and dispute-related matters. The ideal candidate should have experience working with a leading Law Firm or Big 4 / professional services organization and possess strong exposure to commercial contracts and business-oriented legal advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate and finalize a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements.
- Handle MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, engagement agreements, procurement contracts, partnership/alliances and other business contracts.
- Lead contractual negotiations with clients, vendors and other external stakeholders.
- Identify contractual and legal risks and provide practical, commercially viable mitigation solutions.
- Advise business teams and senior management on legal, contractual and regulatory matters.
- Review RFPs, RFQs, tenders, proposals and related contractual documentation.
- Support business teams in structuring transactions and resolving complex contractual issues.
- Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, disputes, notices and other legal matters.
- Support legal due diligence and strategic transactions, wherever required.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, SOPs and legal processes.
- Support contract lifecycle management and ensure appropriate documentation and governance.
- Stay updated on applicable legal and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on their impact.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Procurement, HR, Sales, Operations and other cross-functional teams.
- Support legal risk assessments, compliance initiatives and internal investigations, as applicable.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to strengthening the overall legal function.
Candidate Profile:
- 8-12 years of relevant legal experience.
- LLB is mandatory; LLM / additional legal qualifications will be an advantage.
- Candidates should have experience with a Law Firm or Big 4 / leading professional services organization.
- Strong experience in commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation.
- Experience in advising business stakeholders and senior management on legal and contractual risks.
- Strong understanding of corporate/commercial law and regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to RFPs, tenders, procurement contracts and client-facing commercial agreements.
- Experience in managing external counsel and dispute/litigation matters will be an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to balance legal risk with business/commercial objectives.
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
