DGM IT Procurement (Veterans Candidates Only)

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Providing cost prudence, budget adherence, cost savings through prompt, efficient and cost-effective procurement of the right quality products / services
• 2. Execute full sourcing strategy from Supplier Selection, RFx, Negotiation, Contract execution & commitment, management of supplier performance and logistics
• 3. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
• 4. Negotiate purchase agreements and contracts and ensure procurement remains within the approved budget focusing on quality, delivery, cost containment and process improvement
• 5. Supports as necessary, contractual terms and conditions for review by legal, leveraging latest thinking in contracting methods to minimize risk and maximize advantage
• 6. Identify and shortlist vendors for services required across various companies within M&M group
• 7. Consolidate supplier base across all M&M companies for IT categories

Preferred candidate profile:

• 10+ years of hands-on IT procurement experience (mandatory)
• Strong history of strategic sourcing, cost savings & supplier negotiation
• Experience handling large IT categories (software, cloud, infra, AMC, managed services)
• Ability to partner with Tech, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders
• Experience in contract terms, SLAs, compliance, vendor audit
• Preferred qualifications:
  BE/B. Tech in CS or IT + MBA in Finance
