About the Role:
Our Client is looking for a Program Manager in the CEO's Office to work at the intersection of finance, corporate development, and strategy. This is a high-visibility role for someone who can move fluidly between building investor-grade financial models, shaping board and fundraise narratives, and supporting strategic and corporate development initiatives - all while working directly with senior leadership.
This role suits someone with a strong finance/corpdev foundation from investment banking, a fund, or a late-stage growth startup, who is now looking to operate closer to business decision-making in a fast-scaling EV manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, unit economics) to support fundraising, board reporting, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop investor-facing pitch decks and narratives - articulating growth strategy, margin trajectory, and competitive positioning.
- Support corporate development efforts including fundraise processes, potential M&A/partnership evaluation, and due diligence coordination.
- Track and interpret company performance against financial and operating KPIs; flag risks and opportunities to leadership.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to translate operational data (e.g., cost structures, commodity/input pricing, scheme provisioning) into board- and investor-ready insights.
- Apply working knowledge of accounting standards to ensure financial outputs are technically sound and audit-consistent.
- Prepare board meeting materials, investor updates, and ad hoc strategic analyses on short turnaround.
- Drive special projects assigned by the CEO's office, often cutting across finance, strategy, and operations.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 4 - 9 years in a combination of finance and corporate development roles.
- Prior experience at an investment bank, PE/VC fund, or late-stage growth startup (Series C+) preferred.
- Exposure to fundraising processes, board reporting, or M&A/strategic transactions is a strong plus.
- Strong financial modeling ability - comfortable building models from scratch, not just editing templates.
- Proven experience creating polished, persuasive investor/board pitch decks.
- Working understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP) sufficient to sanity-check financial outputs.
- Sharp analytical and problem-structuring skills; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication - able to translate complex data into a clear narrative.
- High ownership and discretion; comfortable operating close to leadership on sensitive matters.
Qualifications:
- CA (Chartered Accountant) strongly preferred; MBA from a top-tier institute also considered.
- Advanced Excel/financial modeling proficiency required; familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is a plus.
