Job Summary:

• A QC/QA Lead in the Heat Pump/Dryer industry is responsible for overseeing the quality
• control and quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet all regulatory standards,
• customer expectations, and company quality objec?ves. This role involves managing testing
• protocols, developing inspection methods, troubleshooting quality issues, and leading a team
• dedicated to maintaining product standards throughout the production process.

& Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (such as ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with QMS and identify areas forimprovement.
• Design and manage testing protocols for incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Supervise quality inspections of heat pump and dryer components, ensuring adherence to product specifications and industry standards.
• Implement and track testing methods for the performance, durability, and safety of heat pumps and dryers.
• Analyze quality control test results and report findings, identifying trends and
• implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Develop reports on quality metrics, deviations, and non-conformities for senior management.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement in quality processes.
• Lead investigations into product quality issues, including root cause analysis and
• corrective action implementation.
• Work with production, engineering, and design teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Implement preventive actions to reduce the recurrence of product issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct supplier audits, manage quality issues with suppliers, and oversee incoming material inspections.
• Train and mentor quality team members on inspection processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead workshops or training sessions to improve team skills in quality assurance techniques and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline QA/QC processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, such as environmental
• and safety regulations for heat pump and dryer products.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including Standard Operating
• Procedures (SOPs), test records, and audit reports.
• Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the
• HVAC, home appliance, or similar manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and
• tools (e.g., statistical process control, root cause analysis, corrective action planning).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to
• work cross-functionally and influence change.

Certifications: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or

similar certifications are an advantage
