Role Description The Sales Manager role at Tata Capital is a full-time, on-site position based in Salem. The Sales Manager will lead and develop a sales team, drive new customer acquisition, and manage relationships with existing clients across relevant product lines. Responsibilities include setting and monitoring sales targets, coaching team members, conducting market analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves collaborating with credit, operations, and marketing teams to optimize customer experience and product performance, preparing periodic sales reports, and contributing to local business development initiatives.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales management or business development within financial services, banking, or related sectors.
• Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and sales coaching.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, negotiate effectively, and manage key accounts.
• Comfort with sales analytics, target tracking, and reporting using CRM tools and standard office software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and local language preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Sound understanding of retail and SME lending products, risk and compliance practices, and local market dynamics in Salem.
• Ability to work on-site, travel locally as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
