Product Design & Development-Suspension

• Key Responsibilities
• . Define and design innovative suspension product concepts based on user needs and market requirements
• . Conduct user research, benchmarking, and competitor analysis for automotive components
• . Develop product concepts, layouts, and design solutions (2D/3D) with a focus on usability, performance, and manufacturability
• . Collaborate with engineering teams (CAD/CAE) to translate concepts into detailed designs
• . Ensure optimal ride performance, durability, and customer experience in product design
• . Work on product lifecycle management from concept to production release
• . Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and validation planning (DVP/PVP)
• . Support prototype development and testing to validate product functionality
• . Partner with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, suppliers, quality) to optimize product cost and feasibility (VAVE)
• . Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulations, and industry standards
• . Engage with customers/OEMs to gather feedback and improve product design

Key Skills

• .Strong understanding of product design principles (functionality + usability + performance)
• .Knowledge of automotive suspension systems (struts, dampers, springs)
• .Ability to balance design, engineering constraints, and customer experience
• .Familiarity with design validation, DFMEA, and lifecycle processes
• .Exposure to materials and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, rubber, plastics, forging, etc.)
• .Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics, NVH, and durability
• .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• .Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams
