Reporting: to the Director of Market Insights & Intelligence, Transportation Solutions

Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand global research practice and vision leveraging comprehensive research strategies that integrate competitive, industry, and customer insights to evaluate new markets, growth opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Plan and lead annual market research calendar to inform strategic decisions for product, technology, and commercial roadmaps.
• Ensure research methodologies, outputs, and insights meet high standards of rigor and relevance.

• Oversee large-scale primary research (customer interviews, surveys, expert interviews) in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external research agencies. Guide & conduct secondary research and advanced data analysis to uncover trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Build clear, data-driven recommendations that translate complex analysis into actionable insights.
• Produce clear, impactful market reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform strategic, sales, product, and marketing roadmaps.

• Own and continuously improve market intelligence technology stack, including platforms, and analytics tools.
• Drive productivity roadmap in research leveraging and expanding Artificial Intelligence capabilities in the ecosystem.
• Manage outsourced research partners and agency network to meet evolving regional, technical, or commercial needs and ensure quality control for deliverables.
• Lead and inspire team of market analysts across global regions, drive capability development in alignment with evolving needs.
• Manage personnel related processes and drive individual career and development planning in the team. Foster a positive open work environment, and disciplined execution of assigned tasks.

• 7 years or more of market research experience in complex project or business environments
• 5 or more experience working in corporate strategy or management consulting

  Experience in strategic market analysis, business case development, business analytics
• Experience interfacing with senior leadership, commercial, and engineering functions through effective communication of objectives, plans, progress, insights, and strategic recommendations
• Leadership experience is a plus
