Calypso Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Calypso Finance and
• Accounting modules
• Work extensively on Calypso Accounting, including P&L, General Ledger (GL), and
• financial reporting
• Configure and support OPL (Open Product Library) for financial products and accounting
• rules
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, and Finance stakeholders to ensure
• alignment of accounting flows
• Perform functional design, gap analysis, and solution definition within the Calypso
• ecosystem
• Support system integration, UAT, and production issue resolution
• Ensure accurate mapping of trades to accounting entries and reconciliation processes
• Participate in release planning, change management, and production support activities
• Create and maintain functional documentation, test cases, and user guides

Skills

• Must have
• 3+ Years strong experience as a Business Analyst in Finance or Product control domain
• Strong understanding of Capital market products liket IRD, FX, Fixed Income, Pricing &
• Valuation of these products.
• Good experience on setting up Chart of Accounts, Accounting Rules and Accounting
• Books in whole sale trading.
• Basic experience in Trade Life Cycle, Settlements and Corporate actions.
• Good experience in OPL (Official P&L) configuration and customization.
• Good understanding of trade lifecycle and financial instruments (FX, MM, Derivatives,
• Bonds, etc.)
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional specification, and stakeholder
• management
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
