Video Editor / Cinematographer

Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality video footage using professional cameras and equipment, while also being effective and efficient with phone photography/videography.
• Edit raw footage to produce high-quality and engaging video content, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth flow.
• Enhance visuals by incorporating sound effects, graphics, and special effects as needed.
• Ensure all edited content meets technical standards for various platforms, including web, social media, and broadcast.
• Manage video library organization, including archiving and cataloging footage for future projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and editing technologies to implement innovative ideas and techniques.
• Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions with the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor and Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, as well as cinematography equipment including DSLR cameras and lighting setups.
• Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting techniques, camera movement, and lighting principles.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a similar field is preferred.
• Experience with color grading and audio mixing is a plus.
