SAP YL/EWM Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP YL/EWM Functional Consultant to provide production support and enhancement services for warehouse and yard logistics operations. The role is primarily focused on maintaining system stability, resolving incidents within agreed SLAs, and supporting business operations during the KSA time zone. The weekly-off schedule will follow the KSA working calendar and support roster. Key Responsibilities Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for SAP YL/EWM applications. Manage incidents, service requests, problem tickets, root-cause analysis, and resolution within agreed SLAs. Support yard and warehouse processes, including gate and checkpoint activities, transportation units, inbound, outbound, inventory, RF, packing, and shipping. Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces, IDocs, qRFC queues, background jobs, PPF actions, and custom developments. Coordinate with business users, ABAP developers, integration teams, and external vendors to resolve production issues. Support enhancements, change requests, testing, deployments, and post-deployment stabilization. Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, knowledge articles, and support documentation. Provide support coverage aligned to the KSA time zone and follow the applicable KSA weekly-off schedule and support roster. Requirements Required Skills & Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on SAP YL/EWM experience, mainly in production support environments. Strong knowledge of Yard Logistics, inbound, outbound, inventory management, RF Framework, packing, shipping, and transportation unit processes. Experience with SAP ERP/S/4HANA integration, ALE/IDoc interfaces, and 3PL integrations. Strong troubleshooting, incident-management, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills. Hands-on experience with SMQ1/SMQ2, WE02/WE05, SLG1, ST22, SM37, PPF, and interface monitoring. Ability to analyze custom developments and collaborate with technical teams for issue resolution. Good communication, stakeholder-management, and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Experience supporting decentralized EWM and SAP Yard Logistics environments. Knowledge of SAP debugging and ABAP code analysis is an added advantage. Experience supporting Automotive, Retail, Distribution, or 3PL logistics operations. Techno-functional exposure to custom enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, reports, and SAP YL/EWM integration scenarios.
