IML Injection Molding Operator

Role Description The IML Injection Molding Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The operator will set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines with in-mould labeling (IML) to produce reusable food containers according to production specifications. Daily tasks include adjusting machine parameters, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring consistent product quality and output. The operator will inspect products for defects, follow quality control procedures, and maintain accurate production records. The role also involves performing routine preventive maintenance, adhering to safety guidelines, and collaborating with the production and quality teams to meet efficiency and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Machine Operation and Injection Molding, including setup, adjustment, and monitoring of IML equipment.
• Experience with Quality Control practices, including visual inspections, measurements, and documentation of product standards.
• Knowledge of Injections and molding processes relevant to plastic and reusable container manufacturing.
• Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance on molding machines and related equipment to minimize downtime.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow work instructions, and commitment to safety and cleanliness on the production floor.
• Previous experience in plastic manufacturing or injection molding operations is preferred.
• Basic technical or vocational training in mechanical, production, or related fields is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
