Lead - Education Practice - NGO/Social Service

We are hiring for a senior leadership opportunity in the Education & Social Impact sector for a professional who can lead and grow an Education Practice focused on systemic change in public education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape the strategic agenda and growth priorities for the Education Practice.
- Provide strategic oversight to large-scale, multi-donor education programmes.
- Support the design and execution of programmes across early childhood, primary, secondary education, life skills and SEL.
- Work closely with state and central governments to strengthen public education systems.
- Build and deepen relationships with foundations, philanthropic funders, multilaterals, academia, NGOs and senior government stakeholders.

- Represent the practice at national and global forums, conferences and sector platforms.
- Lead strategic convenings and discussions that influence education policy and sector priorities.
- Build, mentor and manage high-performing teams.
- Manage senior client relationships and contribute to business development, strategic proposals and growth.
- Ensure strong project delivery, financial oversight and client success.
Ideal Profile:
- 15+ years of experience in the education sector.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing education programmes.
- Deep understanding of public education systems and government partnerships.
- Experience across multiple education domains rather than a single specialization.
- Strong network within the philanthropy and education ecosystem.
- Experience in consulting, multilaterals or ecosystem organisations is an advantage.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience representing organisations at national/global platforms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a practice.
